Again the service is great and the ambiance is nice BUT one particular stylist at this salon overcharges. The other stylists refer new customers to her because she does not have many (customers). Once she finally has a customer she overcharges-charging as if she did two hairstyles. For example she would do a half head of weave, but charge for a full head. A sew in half head runs about $85-$90 (2010-2011). She actually charges $150-$165 for a sew in half head. Another example is when you call she would quote you a price over the phone. When you arrive she will state a slightly higher price. After you are done she charges an extra, say ten bucks on top of the ridiculously high price she set. When I say a overcharge,I mean in comparison to what salons normally charge and what salons in the area normally would charge. Again, the service is great. The ambiance is nice. But maybe the owner is not aware that one particular sylist overcharges customers-as a result the customer no longer goes there and refers people to other salons that have their prices posted on their websites. If you want great service and ambiance go, but stay away from one particular stylist-the one who the other stylist will refer you to.
